Description
Quisache is the name of a small farm in the Acatenango highlands, where the Santizo Family has tended Anacafe 14 trees with the same patience they might give to anything worth passing down. At 1500 MASL, the cherries ripen slowly, soaking up the cool nights and long, sun‑filled days that define this region. This lot is fully washed, a time‑honored process that highlights sweetness and clarity, letting the inherent qualities of the single-origin Guatemala coffee speak without interference.
When you brew Quisache, you taste a cup that feels alive but composed. There’s a bright, clean acidity at the front, followed by a soft sweetness that lingers like a gentle afterthought. The Anacafe 14 variety gives it a rounded, approachable body; neither sharp nor heavy, but just right. It’s the kind of coffee that feels at home in any setting: a morning ritual, a café moment, or a quiet pause in the middle of the day.
This is the taste of Acatenango, shaped by family and tradition.
Tasting notes: Sweet, bright acidity. Stone fruit. Soft caramel. Clean, rounded finish.
