Description
In the mist‑kissed highlands of Chimaltenango, the Solano Family tends a small plot where Red Bourbon and Caturra trees grow side by side, each rooted in the volcanic soil that gives Guatemala coffee its quiet depth. At 1650 MASL, the cherries ripen slowly, building sugar and fragrance under cool mountain air. This lot is processed using an inoculated lactic maceration/honey method, a unique process that brightens the cup while preserving the sweetness that highland coffee is known for.
When you brew Concepción Buena Vista, you taste the result of that careful balance: a bright, juicy acidity, a lifted red‑fruit top, and a soft sweetness that lingers like a memory. The blend of Red Bourbon and Caturra brings a rounded mouthfeel; neither sharp nor heavy, but smooth and inviting, like a cup that understands your morning without needing to shout.
This single-origin Guatemala coffee is shaped by family, altitude, and craft.
Tasting notes: Red fruits. Fragrant sweetness. Bright, juicy acidity. Soft caramel finish.
